ENTRY DESIGN

Illustration-Driven Design

The use of vivid and intuitive illustrations serves as the cornerstone of the design strategy. These illustrations replace lengthy text explanations, providing a universal language to convey important security messages.

Cultural and Linguistic Considerations

The design is tailored to be inclusive, with visuals that resonate across different cultures and languages, ensuring all employees feel acknowledged and informed.

Sporty and Welcoming Aesthetic

True to Decathlon's ethos, the entry design incorporates elements of sport and motion, reflecting the brand's identity while fostering a welcoming atmosphere.

The Decathlon Northampton Entry Redesign project is a strategic initiative to revamp the entryway of Decathlon's Distribution Center in Northampton. The aim is to create an entrance that not only welcomes staff with a sporty and friendly aesthetic but also effectively communicates essential security protocols.

Design Challenge:
With a diverse workforce, many of whom are non-native English speakers, conventional text-heavy approaches to conveying information are less effective. The challenge lies in transcending language barriers and creating a universally understandable and engaging design that communicates the necessary security guidelines.
